New Top Management at WAB-GROUP

After 33 very successful years, Mr. Harald Frommherz is handing over the operational leadership of Willy A. Bachofen AG due to retirement. As a member of the board of directors he will remain within the WAB-GROUP^® and will focus more on strategic tasks in the future. From April 2021, Erich Ermel takes over the operational management of the WAB-GROUP^® as CEO.

In his initial role as Technical Manager at WAB, Harald Frommherz developed the DYNO^®-MILL ECM-series and laid the foundations for the company in its current form. When Harald Frommherz took over as Managing Director in 1999, he initiated the internationalization of the company and turned the SME into a global player in dispersing and wet grinding technology as well as mixing technology.

Mr. Erich Ermel has a Mechanical Engineering Degree with Executive MBA. He has extensive and very successful management experience with globally acting SME’s. Erich Ermel is looking forward to his new role: « We want to continue with the internationalization of our group of companies and generate further added value for our customers with innovative products. »

With the appointment of Erich Ermel as CEO, the WAB-GROUP^® is committed to continuity and to maintain and develop the successful cooperation with its global sales and business partners.
